Stain free smile

Many of you wont know this bu,t I work in the dental industry. This means your teeth are the first thing I notice about you! In turn I feel that my teeth are the first thing people are going to notice about me, which is why when I was in my mid 20's with eldest bubs in tow I decided to get braces. It was a long two and a half years but I finally got them off and whats the first thing I did?? Got them whitened of course.

It was 2010 and lazer whitening was everywhere so as a little perk to the job my boss did it for me for free. The results were amazing I had a glowing hollywood smile but the pain I felt both during and after was like nothing else. I wanted to clamp my mouth shut and never open it again this lasted three days and finally faded but I swore I was never getting it done AGAIN.

Unfortunatly for me though I have a serious love affair with coffee and coffee causes staining. So after about a year I decided I needed a top up and decided the Zoom home whitening kit was the way to go this time, as atleast I would have some control. I got trays made up and bought the kit through work it came with 6 syringes each syringe would last for about 3 nights I also had a little box to keep my trays in and it all came it a handy little case.

As I was only doing a top up I said I was only going to do 3 nights as I did'nt want to be Ross Geller white!! haha. I got brilliant results after the first night they were brighter then I thought they would be but they were also more sensitive then I thought they would be.

So I decided to skip the 2nd night and instead put sensodyne in the trays for a

night, it worked a treat and there was little or no sensitivity the following day so I went ahead and did one more night and I was absolutely fine the next morning and I achieved the result I wanted.

I still had 5 syringes left so I kept the other syringes and used them every 4-6 months for top ups.

Fast forward 7 years later and I still buy the odd syringe about once a year for a top up to this along with my other secret weapon kin whitening toothpaste help keep my smile nice and bright and white and is definitley the reason you would'nt know I was a heavy coffee drinker!
