Brows on fleek

Good brows frame the face and really open up your eyes. I like to have a good shape to mine and usually take a trip to the body shop to get them threaded and tinted every 6 to 8 weeks (which may be a bit long but can't be avoided sometimes) of course inbetween visit I have to try tend to them myself which I hate lol. I had been using a brow kit for awhile to fill in my brows and decided when I came to the end of it to try something different.

God knows there are plenty of brow kits, pencils and gels to choose from out there but I wanted something that was going to work but not break the bank at the same time (mommys guilt). So off I went to boots ( my go to place) and that were I found this

The sleek make up brow kit. I had heard really good things about this brand but had'nt used any of the products previously myself. I thought the packaging was great it was small so it was'nt going to take up too much room in my make-up bag/ handbag and at 11.99 it was ticking all the boxes.

The brow kit includes, shaping wax, setting powder, tweezers and an angle and blending brush. In all honesty here now the tweezers is not great, it would do if you were stuck but I suggest getting yourself a tweezman. The kit is available in 4 shades ranging from Light to Dark so theres a kit to suit everyone.

Below is a pic of my eyebrows before and after and you can clearly see the difference my brows look fuller and more defined.

How to use

Step One: Using the tweezers enclosed, clean up any stray hairs. Step Two: Apply the shaping wax with the angled brush following the natural shape of your brow to define the brows’ shape, pressing gently as you go to ensure you do not get hard lines, blending as you go. Step Three: Using the setting powder, apply using the same angled brush, filling in any sparse areas, blending the wax as you go to achieve picture perfect brows.

Then we come to sleek brow intensity which I picked up while on bit of a boots frenzy along with a sleek eyeshadow pallet they were buy one get one half price. It's not that I needed it I just like the look of it! I'm a marketer's dream I know haha.

Now I'm quiet clumbsy and the type of person to stab herself the the eye with her mascara wand and I did find that this took some getting use to as I kept getting my forhead with the tapered brush but once I got used to it I loved it and even had people ask had I gotten my eyebrows done.

Sleek brow intensity, also 11.99 is long-lasting and smudge-proof, the microfibers adhere to skin and hairs, creating natural-looking fullness and definition its also available in 5 core shades, with 2 variations of highlighter.

How to use

Using short sweeping motions apply the tapered sponge-tip along brows to define and sculpt to your desired shape 2. Comb through with the brush to blend and build up brows 3. Apply the highlighter pencil under your brow following the shape of the arch.

You can't go wrong with either of these products they are good quality, they don't cost a fortune and they are quick and easy to use and as a mammy who does'nt get much time to herself that's exactley what I needed because it's never long before someone is calling my name.
